All strainers are fabricated to the exact design needs of each client and project.
We can even meet the exacting requirements of ACRS strainers with FRP vessels for maximum corrosion resistance in seawater or process applications. Our scraper design does not require an external feed of clean water for contaminant removal and the scraper’s automatic operation and self-cleaning features makes for practically no maintenance. Our vessels are ASME section VIII, Div. 1, code stamped and alternate approvals such as PED and GOST are available.

Replacement Automatic Strainers
ACRS L-Series Automatic Scraper Strainers are custom built to your specifications. Provide Acme with a drawing of your current backwash automatic strainer installation and we will configure an economical replacement.
Scraper strainer advantage over Backwash
Acme scraper strainers resist clogging and fouling when faced with large solids and high solids concentration. Backwash strainers cannot remove oversize solids and will clog, requiring manual removal of the solids and cleaning of the filtration screen.
